Akshay Kumar lashes out at ‘OUATIMD’ critics

After 'Once Upon a time in Mumbai Dobarara' lost out to SRK's 'Chennai Express' in box-office, critics have been dubbing the Akshay Kumar-starrer a flop and warning viewers that it is 'not even a one-time watch'. This has infuriated the actor, who has reportedly lashed out at the critics, and said that the only thing that matters is audience response.

Apparently Akshay Kumar has accused critics of not knowing the basic of filmmaking and hence it makes them unfit to understand what is the pulse of the audience and what movies they appreciate. The actor also made it clear that he will only respect those film critics who keep the viewers in their mind while expressing their opinions on any film.

However, we have a suggestion for Akshay. Rather than slamming critics it would have been better had you promoted the film in 'SRK way'. Isn't that the reason why Ekta Kapoor is also miffed with you for not giving enough time for film promotions?
